Location:                    Newburyport High – 241 High St, Newburyport, MA 01950

Show times:               10:30AM (live judged, meaning no separate pre-judging and finals. Group comparisons, individual presentations and award presentation are done straight through. Expected end time is 4 PM)

Divisions:                   Men’s Bodybuilding: Teen, Novice, 60+, 50+, 40+, Open – Women’s Bodybuilding: Novice, 45+, 35+, Open – Figure: Novice, 45+, 35+, Open – Ms. Fitness: Open

Classes:                     Split evenly by height in the manner specified in the OCB Guidelines. To be eligible for a novice division, you cannot have placed first in any class besides Teen within any division with any organization (unless you were the only one in the class). Eligibility will be verified during polygraph testing.

Crossovers:               A "crossover" is entering more than one division. For example, someone may enter the Novice division and also elect to crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well.

Check-in:                   8:30 AM – 9:00 AM at the contest venue. Any competitors not reporting for check-in prior to    9:15 AM will be scratched from the show. (Most check-ins should be done the night before).

Contestant meeting: 9:30AM

Fees:                          Entry $40 if postmarked by 07/14/07, $50 if postmarked after 07/14/07. Walk-ins the day of the event, entry fee $60. Crossovers $25 per additional class. OCB Membership $50, Polygraph Testing $40 payable directly to the examiner at the time of testing.

Tickets:                      Adult General Admission All-Day $25, Trainers Ticket (All-Day) $25, Under 18 General Admission All-Day $10, 10 and under Free

Drug Testing:             Polygraph testing for all bodybuilding & figure competitors (Ms. Fitness only, not required to take the polygraph exam). $40 payable in cash or money order to the polygraph examiner at the time of testing. Photo identification required. Results from recent polygraph exams performed for other contests will not be honored. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure they are polygraph tested for the event. If any competitors are not polygraph tested for the event they are ineligible for competition. Plus all competitors, including Ms. Fitness, subject to additional forms of testing, if requested, at the discretion and expense of the promoter.  Polygraph testing & Check-in will take place on Friday 7/27 at DeMarco Health & Fitness/ Maximum Nutrition Centers located at 77 Turnpike Rd, Ipswich MA 01938 and Saturday 7/28 at 8:30AM at the contest venue. Promoter will contact entrants 1-2 weeks before the show to schedule appointments for testing.

Backstage policy:      1 assistant per competitor allowed, assistant MUST buy a trainers ticket ($25)

Routines:                   Routine length 60 secs for bodybuilding; 90 secs for Fitness; Music on CD or cassette. Props allowed.

Hotel:                         Fairfield Inn – 35 Clarks Rd, Amesbury, MA 01913. 2.4 Miles from the contest venue. Call (978) 388-3400 and mention ‘OCB YANKEE CLASSIC’ group code to get $125/night rate. After June 28^th rooms are released from the group block and become subject to availability. Located at the intersection of Routes I-95 and 495. Free continental breakfast; free high-speed Internet, coffee makers and hairdryers in rooms.
